Riverdance features a team of Irish step dancers and includes a challenge between tap dancers and the step dancers. Cast, show, recordings and performance information is available on their Web site http://www.riverdance.com/.
Stomp is a performance group that uses 'street' percussion: trash can lids, brooms, cigarette lighters, newspapers, buckets, etc. (A related live short film called Brooms was nominated for an Academy Award and there is an IMAX movie called Pulse: A STOMP Odyssey.) Tap Dogs - The show's Homepage is http://www.tapdogs.com/ No further info. Excerpt from the site: "TAP DOGS is a show about blokes at work. They wear ripped jeans and work boots and they dance on a building site of scaffolding, girders, ladders and ropes, constructing surfaces even while they tap." Apparently, a video is available: WARNER VISION INTERNATIONAL ( ref : 0630 15545-3), produced by BACK ROW PRODUCTION, manufactured in U.K.
