• German Tap is a German tap dancer's association founded in spring 1995 and counts approx. 490 members already. About 150 members are professionals, (i.e. performing dancers or teachers), others are hobbyists. The society's aims are to promote art and culture in tap dancing, improve communication among the dancers and provide information concerning all aspects of tap dance. A bi-monthly German Tap Newsletter with a circulation of 600 copies is published, containing articles about famous tap dancers, books, videos; jobs; dates of Auditions, Performances, Workshops...

  Turin meets on Fridays at 6 at the Ginger Dance school, via Plana 5, tel 011 83 76 92. This is near Piazza Vittorio, very central for Turinese. It's an adult group. Has a musician, a theatre worker, a plumber, two journalists, a sprinkling of teachers. It works in English but could integrate Italian, Spanish, French and Hungarian. It's a laboratory, we share what we know. Faye runs and paces the sessions. Laura chooses the music. We also want to talk about tap, read books about tap, watch videos.

  The biggest institute of dance in Norway with everything in dance (eks. ballett, jazz, moderne, flamenco,hip hop, swing, Lindy hop, jitterbug,and of course TAP). Students from 4-30 years old. The institute was founded in 1937 and was the first school in Tapdance and Swing dance in Norway. Educates ballet and musical theatre artists, and has a professional dance company, where some of the dancers are tapdancers.
