Robert is a protege of his grandfather, Maceo Anderson, an original member of the fabulous "Four Step Brothers" dance act.
Robert (center of photo) is now performing with son, Robert, Jr. (on left in photo) and daughter, Robin (on right), as "Six Feet of Rhythm." He teaches at festivals from coast to coast and performs nationally and internationally.

Robert has performed in New York with such tap greats as:Chuck Green, Jimmy Slyde, Ralph Brown, Buster Brown, and some cast members of the hit Broadway show "Black and Blue". He has also performed with the legendary Clayton "Peg Leg" Bates at Mr. Bate's Country Club where he was the featured performer.
He has performed in California with such great hoofers as: Arthur Duncan, The Nicholas Brothers, Gene Bell, and The Four Step Brothers (Maceo Anderson, Prince Spencer, and Al Williams).
