Mailing Lists

Note: Some of the dance mailing lists as well as the rec.arts.dance newsgroup are archived at the Dancer's Archive at world.std.com. You can become a member by subscribing to an email mailing list. There is one address that handles housekeeping chores such as subscribe/unsubscribe, archive information, suspension of mail during time off, etc. and there is the address for posting discussion items for everyone.

You can get information on subscribing to tap jazz on the Tap Dance Homepage Utilities page which also has a link to a recent archive of messages.

Here's a short announcement describing tap-jazz from the list manager:

...I've set up a mailing list for tap and jazz
discussions... Any discussion relating to tap or jazz would be
appropriate for this mailing list, including (but not limited
to) history, the future of, teachers, books, videos, music,
major (and not so major) people, performances, and studio
issues.

Posts to the mailing list should be sent to:
tap-jazz@world.std.com Any contributions toward one or more FAQ
would be greatly appreciated. If you have a thesis you'd like to
share, please email me directly and I'll put it on the archive
where it'll be available to everyone.

The mailing list will be archived @ftp.std.com
/ftp/nonprofits/dance/tap-jazz as well as the videos, music, and
books directories directly under the dance directory...
