We are pleased to welcome two new people to the ranks of ITA Regional Rep-dom. Christophe Pellet, a new ITA member who recently moved from the USA back to Europe, will be covering England. Pascal Hulin, who already corresponds often with us, will be joining Ingrid Beier-Hawel as a Germany Representative. Pascal will cover Berlin while Ingrid continues to very energetically cover Koln (Cologne.)
Thanks again to all ITA Regional Representatives (Reps) around the world who gather information, report on tap activities, provide feedback from the field, and keep on the pulse. The function of the Reps is to promote tap and to encourage cohesiveness in local and regional tap communities.
Please send a copy of Calendar, Footnotes, and Fieldnotes submissions to your regional representative, if you have one, as well as to the Boulder office. Let your reps know about local events, happenings, and teachers, so that they can best serve as conduits of information. All ITA members, and especially regional reps, are vital links in the communication network of local tap scenes which, when pieced together, compose the bigger picture of the national and international tap world. So please continue to contact each other and make information available to each other. In this cooperative effort, real communication and advocacy for tap happens.
Also, be sure to check this listing with each publication of the newsletter as reps for regions are added or changed from time to time. Thanks, again, to all of you for your enthusiasm and efforts in reporting on the events and ideas of the tap world.
